Job Summary: Sequoia Tree Service LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Top Tree Climber-Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leadership, a strong background in tree climbing and removal, and the ability to lead a crew to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires proficiency in climbing techniques, knowledge of tree care, and the ability to operate and drive manual transmission vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a tree care crew in performing tree climbing, pruning, and removal tasks.
• Safely and efficiently climb and work on trees of various heights and sizes.
• Ensure proper safety protocols are followed by the crew at all times.
• Maintain and inspect equipment, including chainsaws and climbing gear.
• Drive company vehicles, including manual transmission trucks, to job sites.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure quality service.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior climbers and crew members.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Proven experience as a top tree climber, with knowledge of tree care and safety practices.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage a crew effectively.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• A positive attitude and willingness to grow within the company.
